Anna is the Executive Assistant to CEO Chrystel Cornelius at Oweesta Corporation. She has a background as a loan officer for a new and developing CDFI on the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Reservation. Anna has also worked in administrative roles for Turtle Mountain Tribal District III representative, Sky Dancer Hotel and Casino and Grand Treasure Casino. In addition, she has worked as a lead service representative for First Community Credit Union. Anna has experience working with audit firms, NIGC and Tribal entities.

Anna holds an Associate of Science degree along with being a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN). Her education and skills have enabled her to work in several positions where she has provided care for the elderly in the Turtle Mountain Community. She has extensive experience in caring for individuals throughout their end-of-life journey, beginning from the initial stages until their final resting.

Anna has also been working as a full-time substitute teacher for Dunseith Public High School. Her recent work includes teaching Read 180 and Music. In the first year, she taught in person but in the following two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she taught online through Google Classroom.

Hobbies include reading, walking, camping, and spending time with her five grandchildren. She is very proud of them and excited for a new addition to the family.
