Learning financial management is essential on the path to healthy financial well-being and vital to building finally empowered Native communities and strong Tribal economies. As part of the popular Building Native Communities (BNC) financial education curriculum, the teen and young adult program is designed to help carry Native youths from novice to expert in money management.
This training on the Building Native Communities: Financial Empowerment for Teens & Young Adults curriculum is an immersive “train-the-trainer” program that will equip participants with the tools, activities, and approach needed to support youth in their communities enter adulthood financially strong.

- Comprehension of financial basics such as budgeting, credit management, and consumer awareness.

What’s Included?
- Registration covers instruction, digital materials, and certification.
Certification
Participants must attend and complete all days of training, participate in an oral presentation, and pass the exam to be certified as an instructor held on the final day of the training. Upon completion of the training, participants will be prepared to take the financial education curriculum and teachings back to their Tribal communities.
