Our Vision

This site provides information on Oweesta's program's and services, including Native financial education, Native CDFI development, and research and advocacy to support these growing Native movements.

We are currently in Phase III of our website development, and many of you have already provided input into the construction of this site. However, our goal is to create a place of community for all of you in the coming months and years and we welcome ongoing input.

If you are a Native CDFI or a Native community considering creating one and you have not completed the Website Survey, you can fill it out on the site and submit it online or print it out and fax it.  Your input is key to the growth of www.oweesta.org as we offer a place for you to profile your organization and network with peers, funders and investors.

If you are seeking information on Native financial education using our Building Native Communities curriculum, this site will show you how and when you can get trained, as well as a list of local trainers.  Please see our Instructor Training workshop calendar.  If you want to request training or have further input in the process, fill out our online form and send it to us.
