Website Community Survey
With the expansion of our programs & services and the receipt of the recent CDFI Fund's Native Communities Financing Initative contract, First Nations Oweesta Corporation is in the process of developing a website specifically for Native CDFIs and CDFI-like organizations. In the coming months we will be designing the site and we would like your input. In order to expand our technical assistance and training, we want to create a unique Native CDFI Resource Center with downloadable documents, curriculum, presentations, schedules, related links and a place for Native CDFIs and developing organizations to network and share information. Your answers to the following questions will help guide us in this process.
We know that everyone is at a different stage of growth and serves a slightly different market. We realize too that there are other CDFI organizations around the country, but we would like to create a special place for all of you to work with each other and access materials specific to Native asset and economic development. For those of you who are well-established Native CDFIs, please consider what other tribes and startup organizations might find helpful as they grow their CDFIs and all of you begin to interact with each other through such a site. For those of you just beginning this process, let us know what would help you the most. Your feedback is very important in this process.
You can also print this form out and fax/mail it to us if you wish. If you have any questions, please call Stewart or Staci at (605) 342-3770. Thank you for your input.
Please put a check next to any of the following proposed functions/site offerings you would like to see on the site. Add any other kinds of materials/offerings you might think of:
Documents/materials download section Viewable/downloadable Oweesta presentations Viewable/downloadable training materials Downloadable financial literacy curriculum Downloadable business plan curriculum Downloadable sample CDFI business plans Downloadable sample business plans for CDFI clients Downloadable sample organization formation documents (articles/charter, bylaws, etc.) Downloadable sample loan documents/policies Main link page Links to other CDFI/community development websites Links to tribal/tribally-related websites dealing with economic development issues Links to funder/investor websites Chat room or similar functionality to interact directly with other Native CDFIs and site clients Profiles of your organization and mission with contact links for investors, funders, fellow Native CDFIs and others Password protected area for Native CDFI and CDFI-like organizations (including start-up organizations, tribal nonprofits, housing authorities, etc.) Recommended upcoming trainings/conferences List serve for website clients (Native CDFIs and CDFI-like organizations only) Lists of Certified Native CDFIs, CDFI TA and FA grant awardees (SECA, NACTA, NACD, etc.)
Other suggestions for sections/information to be put on the website:
Should the planned Native CDFI Resource Center have an area available only to Native CDFIs, tribes and CDFI-like organizations? Yes No
Would you be willing to donate a small fee (approximately $50.00/year) for site maintenance and to create your user profile with password protection for each organization? Yes No
Please give us any other information you think helpful for the creation of this common location for Native CDFIs to gather online.
